My creative side - or lack thereof

I picked up an SLR for the first time in 15 years earlier in Feb. There was an old roll of B&W in it which I remember buying when I was pregnant with Eva in 2005, so know there was some old shots on it, I finished the roll and decided to see if I had anything else creative flowing through me. The results are quite good, for a first go, and really gave me the urge to get back into photography.

I have my NEW Nikon D60 and 50mm f1.8D lens arriving Wednesday - so watch this space....

Hi Jane,

I really like the Nikon D60, but then again, I have nothing to compare to as I upgraded from a very basic (old) point and shoot to a SLR. I went straight to playing in manual which was a lot of fun to learn also. Probably only draw back and is sometimes troublesome when you don't have time to stop and fiddle is manual focus lens - no auto focus, which I believe the D80 has, so a p&s for quick snaps...

Great 10MP clarity and I'm very happy with it.

cheers
